Hearing “Well done good and faithful servant” is a reward many Christians will NOT hear.
Can we in all honesty expect to hear “well done good and faithful servant” if we have not been one? Imagine the disappointment you will feel standing before Jesus if you have nothing to show, nothing to be rewarded for a life spent living on this earth after becoming a Christian.
“Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming” (1 John 2:28).
Would you die of embarrassment if Jesus came back tonight, shrinking back in shame at His coming, because you have never taken discipleship seriously?
